Fieldfare is an independent print journal about the importance of place.

More than just a travel magazine, at Fieldfare our mission is to explore the qualities that make a place special or unique, and that foster a sense of authentic human attachment and connection.

We are interested in stories where the idea of place is interlaced with historical meaning, grounded in tradition and heritage, bolstered by personal connection, and explored with a fresh and interesting perspective. We seek out beautiful and striking images that can convey the essence of a place to our readers.

Each issue is a mixture of photo essays, travel features, personal narratives, interviews, profiles of artists and gardeners, and beautiful houses and buildings—all with a focus on the importance of place and connection. We publish two issues per year in May and October.
